I work in the area of disaster and emergency management in the Asia Pacific region and am based in New Zealand.

My passion: ensuring the availability of effective, best practice research and policy advice within disaster and emergency management

My experience: I completed my PhD at the University of South Australia in 2006 with concentrations in sociology and education and have worked in senior public policy/advice provision, stakeholder and relationship management, and academia since that time.

My skills: I am a clear, articulate, decisive and positive person with considerable experience in policy, research and relationship managment, and am committed to the implementation of workplace practices that promote and foster the well-being of my staff and colleagues.
