Michael Gaudiani began his academic journey at Harvard University, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Human Evolutionary Biology with a minor in English. His pursuit of medicine led him to Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio, where he graduated with Honors in Research in 2021. The intense research environment at Case Western allowed him to develop a robust understanding of medical science, preparing him for his career in orthopedic surgery.

While attending Harvard, Dr. Gaudiani worked as a licensed EMT-B, providing emergency care in the Boston area. This early exposure to the healthcare field not only helped shape his passion for patient care but also gave him valuable experience in handling medical emergencies. After completing his undergraduate degree, he further honed his research skills as an assistant at the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York City. In addition to his medical career, he has an impressive background in competitive swimming. During his high school and college years, he led his teams to multiple state and Ivy League championships. In 2012, he qualified for the United States Olympic Team Trials, competing in several events, which speaks to his discipline and determination.
