Not sure where you are going? Are there aspects of your personality you wish to change or do you wish you could choose better relationships? As a psychologist, my role is to serve as a support while you try to get there. I offer a space to describe your unique experience and feel heard without judgment or criticism. In therapy, an affirming space can help you pay attention to what you really want and who you really are. During our collaboration, we will find a method to help you get there.
In my work I have had the opportunity to support clients from very diverse experiences and backgrounds. Some concerns that have been addressed include, but are not limited to: assessing current relationships, developing assertiveness, changing careers, managing depression or anxiety, exploring gender and sexual orientation, and developing better coping skills for complicated or everyday problems.
I use an integrative approach, which refers to a therapist's ability to see each person as an individual and consider their unique experiences during treatment planning. As a result, therapy is tailored to each individual. Some orientations used are: client-centered/humanistic, cognitive-behavioral, feminist, interpersonal and psychodynamic approaches.

I currently accept Blue Cross Blue Shield PPO insurance.
