He completed his undergraduate and medical education at Tulane University and Tulane University School of Medicine. Over the years, Dr. Neil Ross has led and developed multiple anesthesia groups, including Summit Anesthesia and Pinnacle Anesthesia Consultants. He currently resides in Boca Raton, Florida, where he is the head of Diabetic Practice Solutions LLC.

Neil was born in Chicago, Illinois, and attended Ida Crown Jewish Academy for high school. After graduating, he moved to New Orleans, Louisiana, to pursue higher education at Tulane University. There, he earned his Bachelor of Science degree and continued his academic journey at Tulane University School of Medicine. He completed his Doctor of Medicine degree in 1986, laying the groundwork for his future in both clinical practice and healthcare management.

His postgraduate training began with a surgical internship at Boston University Medical Center. The role required handling demanding hospital responsibilities and preparing him for the pace and seriousness of medical decision-making. After this internship, Neil returned to New York to enter a residency program in anesthesiology at New York University Medical Center. His dedication to the specialty led him to pursue a fellowship in cardiac anesthesia at NYU. This training deepened his clinical experience and allowed him to participate in complex surgical procedures.

In 1990, Neil joined Sheridan Healthcare in Hollywood, Florida. He served in the organization until 1996, eventually taking on the role of Director of Cardiac Anesthesia. During his time there, he helped the company develop new contracts and supported efforts in regions beyond Florida. He also became familiar with the administrative aspects of healthcare, including tasks related to billing systems, staff management, compliance procedures, and operational management.

Neil moved to New Jersey in 1996 to join Summit Anesthesia Associates. He took on dual responsibilities as both a physician and a managing partner. The group provided anesthesia services to several regional hospitals, such as Mountainside Hospital and Trinitas Hospital. By 1999, Neil became the managing member. He oversaw hospital contracts, handled recruitment, guided staff development, and ensured compliance with industry standards.
