My interests are liver transplantation, portal hypertension, hepatocellular Carcinoma and critical care of patients with complications of cirrhosis. Current research interests include angiogenesis in portal hypertension, novel devices for the control of variceal bleeding, the microcirculation in cirrhosis and clinical trials of new therapies in hepatocellular carcinoma.
