Dr Oscar Almeida

Certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Dr. Oscar Almeida began his education as a student at California State University in Long Beach, where he earned a bachelor of science. After graduating, he began studying at the University of South Alabama (USA) College of Medicine in Mobile, graduating in 1985 with a doctor of medicine. Dr. Oscar Almeida continued his medical training with postdoctoral work at the University of South Alabama Medical Center, where he completed an internship and residency. At present, Dr. Almeida serves as a gynecologist and obstetrician in Mobile, Alabama, where he focuses on minimally invasive gynecological procedures. In addition to his work with patients, Dr. Oscar Almeida teaches at the USA College of Medicine as a clinical professor within the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology.He also previously served as a member of the college’s admissions committee and as president of the college’s Medical Executive Alumni Board from 2003 to 2004.
