Dr. Oscar John Ma is a highly accomplished medical professional who has dedicated over three decades to researching and leading teams in various hospitals. He started his career as an attending staff with the University of North Carolina Hospitals in Chapel Hill. He soon rose to become a medical director with Carolina Air Care. Within one year, he became the director of emergency ultrasonography in the Department of Emergency Medicine and worked as a residency research director.
Dr. John Ma is a highly accomplished medical professional with decades of experience. By 1997, he had already moved to the University of Missouri Kansas City School of Medicine, where he joined the attending staff of St. Luke’s Hospital and then the Truman Medical Center. He would stay at the Truman Medical Center for eight years, rising through the ranks until becoming Department Chair and Chief of Emergency Medicine in 2006.
