Dr Paolo Boffetta

Dr. Paolo Boffetta is currently a professor and associate director at Tisch Cancer Institute, Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, New York, NY. The epidemiologist is also a leading researcher on cancer and chronic diseases. He has contributed to the understanding of the role of occupation, environment, alcohol, smoking, and nutrition in disease development.

Through the years, Dr. Paolo Boffetta has published more than 1,300 scientific articles and 80 book chapters as well as editor of 15 books and journal supplements. He has also authored several other non-English and non-scientific articles about smoking and drinking prevention.
