Dr. Phil Werschler

Dr. William Philip Werschler is a board-certified dermatologist, founding member of Spokane Dermatology Clinic and Werschler Aesthetics, and founder of Premier Clinical Research. He has been in private practice since 1989 and serves as Clinical Professor of Dermatology at Washington State University's Elson S. Floyd College of Medicine and Assistant Clinical Professor in Medicine and Dermatology at the University of Washington, where he has held a faculty appointment for more than 30 years.

Dr. Werschler received his medical degree with graduation honors from George Washington University Medical Center in Washington, D.C., where he also completed his dermatology residency and served as Chief Resident. He completed his internal medicine internship at the University of Arizona and his undergraduate studies Magna Cum Laude at Eastern Washington University. He later completed the Physician Entrepreneur Program at the Kellogg Graduate School of Management, Northwestern University.

As a nationally recognized thought leader in both medical and aesthetic dermatology, Dr. Werschler has served as a principal investigator on FDA clinical trials across dermatology, aesthetic devices, neurotoxins, and dermal fillers. He is the founding Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Clinical and Aesthetic Dermatology (JCAD), an indexed medical journal published for more than 20 years.
