Dr. Rajiv Datta

A leading physician in the fields of head and neck surgery and surgical oncology, Dr. Rajiv Datta chairs the Department of Surgery at the South Nassau Communities Hospital in Valley Stream, New York. Dr. Datta concurrently serves as the director of the hospital’s Division of Surgical Oncology and Head and Neck Surgery and the medical director of the hospital’s Gertrude & Louis Feil Cancer Center. Before joining the team at South Nassau Communities in 2001, Dr. Rajiv Datta served tenures as a surgical oncologist with the Brooklyn health care facilities of Coney Island Hospital and Maimonides Medical Center.

In addition to his work as a clinical practitioner and medical administrator, Dr. Rajiv Datta does his part to educate the next generation of physicians as a professor of surgery at both the Ross University School of Medicine and the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine. He also serves as a faculty preceptor at the Nassau University Medical Center and St. Johns Hospital.
