Dr. Rajivkumar Gupta

Dr. Gupta is an Indian Administrative Service Officer of 1986 Batch. With vast national and international professional experience he has held various senior positions like Collector & District Magistrate, Executive Director of Sardar Sarovar Nigam, Managing Director Tourism, Secretary (Water Resources), Commissioner (Higher & Technical) Education etc. He has also been Advisor in GAP Project, Prime Ministry, Turkey.

Currently he is Principal Secretary, Climate Change Department, Government of Gujarat which is first of its kind in whole of Asia. He is also Principal Secretary, Water Supply Department, Government of Gujarat and Chairman, Water Supply & Sewerage Board and Chairman & Managing Director, Gujarat Water Infrastructure Limited. He is also appointed by the Government of Gujarat as Managing Director of Gujarat Narmada Valley Fertilizers and Chemicals Limited.
