Regina Edmond

Providing obstetrics and gynecological services, Dr. Regina Edmond oversees her own practice in West Hollywood, California. With a long list of professional affiliations, Dr. Regina Edmond has focused on continuing to learn and help others. Dr. Regina Edmond has served as a member of the American Board of Integrative and Holistic Medicine since 2008, learning about different approaches to healing. From 2002 to 2007, Dr. Regina Edmond completed a residency at Martin Luther King/Drew Medical Center, where she served as a Representative on the Counsel of Interns and Residents. In this capacity, Dr. Regina Edmond served as a voice of change, lobbying in Sacramento to encourage local representatives to maintain proper access to health care for the underserved population. Since 2001, Dr. Regina Edmond has held membership in the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, which has afforded her many networking and knowledge-sharing opportunities. Dr. Regina Edmond was a member of the American Medical Women’s Association from 1999 to 2002. Dr. Regina Edmond worked to build camaraderie among other female physicians. Dr. Regina Edmond has also participated in regional conference activities of the American Academy of Family Physicians. In addition, Dr. Regina Edmond has participated in the American Medical Student Association, learning how to view the bigger picture of medicine and how industry changes could directly affect her education. Dr. Regina Edmond taught elementary school students basic science information as part of her time as an Executive Board Member of the Student National Medical Association. She also worked with pre-med students, helping them prepare for the next step in their education by providing tutoring and support. From 1999 to 2000, Dr. Regina Edmond’s served as the President of the Minority Medical Student Association. Dr. Regina Edmond acted as the voice for other smaller groups and organized social events to build a collaborative environment.
