A coauthor of various research articles on randomized and comparative studies regarding genetics and medications, Dr. Richard Berg is an experienced diagnostic radiologist with over three decades of experience. For 15 years, he served as a practicing radiologist at the Medical Imaging Center of San Luis Obispo in California. While there, Dr. Richard Berg offered a range of radiology services, including CT scans, x-rays, biopsies, MRI exams, hysterosalpingographies, and ultrasounds. He also provided consultations to Atascadero State Hospital and California Polytechnic State University.
Dr. Berg later joined Community Medical Imaging in Fresno, California, where he worked as a practicing radiologist. Among other professional organizations, he formerly belonged to the American Medical Association and the Radiological Society of North America. He has a bachelor of arts in biology from San Diego State University and a doctor of medicine from the Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science, previously known as Chicago Medical School. After he earned his graduate degree, he completed a residency in diagnostic radiology at the West Los Angeles VA Medical Center and became board certified in 1988.
Outside of his professional pursuits, Dr. Berg enjoys traveling, meditating, reading, and spending time with his two sons. He also likes waterskiing and snow skiing.
