An emergency medicine physician with more than three decades of experience, Dr. Richard Delacruz holds a bachelor of arts in biology from Johns Hopkins University, a master of science in physiology from Georgetown University, and a medical degree from the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences in Bethesda, Maryland. Dr. Richard Delacruz completed an internship in family medicine at Naval Hospital in Jacksonville, Florida, followed by a residency in emergency medicine at Naval Medical Center in San Diego.

Since 2015, Dr. Delacruz has served as an attending physician at Orange Park Medical Center, where he also serves as a law enforcement and emergency medical service liaison. Dr. Delacruz has also worked as a collaborating physician with My Choice House Calls from 2015 to 2020. To stay informed on topics within the field of emergency medicine, Dr. Delacruz maintains membership in the American College of Emergency Physicians and the American Academy of Emergency Medicine. Outside his professional interests, he enjoys cooking, weightlifting, and mountain biking.
