Dr. Robert Brager

A physician at Virginia Ear, Nose and Throat Associates, which maintains locations in Richmond, Mechanicsville, and elsewhere, Dr. Robert Brager works alongside the other MDs at the practice to provide compassionate, state-of-the-art care to adults and pediatric patients. Dr. Brager brings to his role a number of years in practice, as well as a comprehensive education. In addition, Dr. Robert Brager possesses administrative experience: From 2007 to 2011, he served as President of Virginia Ear, Nose and Throat Associates, which consists of nearly a dozen doctors who are board-certified in their specialty.

Before obtaining his MD and beginning to practice medicine, Dr. Robert Brager began his education at Duke University, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and graduated magna cum laude. He then entered the University of Pittsburgh for his MD, which he received in 1990. After earning his MD, Dr. Brager fulfilled a two-year general surgery internship at Georgetown University Hospital, followed by a residency in otolaryngology–head and neck surgery at the same institution. Recognized for his skills and leadership abilities, he served as Chief Administrative Resident at Georgetown University Hospital from 1995 to 1996.

To stay abreast of developments in his field and provide his patients with the latest treatments available, Dr. Robert Brager maintains affiliations with professional groups such as the Virginia Society of Otolaryngology, the American Medical Association, the Richmond Academy of Medicine, and the American Academy of Otolaryngology. In addition, he earned his certification from the American Board of Otolaryngology in 1998.

When not treating patients, Dr. Robert Brager enjoys participating in a host of recreational and leisure activities, including hiking, camping, skiing, and playing tennis. He also likes to stay in shape by competing in triathlons.
