Dr. Ron Israeli

Dr. Ron Israeli serves as an experienced urologist who diagnoses and treats patients with urologic cancers, specializing in adrenal, prostate, bladder, kidney, urethral, and testicular cancer. Dr. Israeli also possesses expertise in upper tract tumors. He provides surgical treatment options for conditions of the urinary tract and male reproductive system. Based in Staten Island, Dr. Israeli has been serving the New York metropolitan area for more than 15 years. He draws on his experience in robotic prostate surgery, urodynamics testing, provenge therapy for advanced prostate cancer, interstim bladder neuromodulation, and bladder reconstructive surgery. Prior to undertaking his career in urology, Dr. Ron Israeli earned a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Johns Hopkins University in Maryland. He proceeded to enroll at the SUNY Health Sciences Center at Stony Brook (now Stony Brook University School of Medicine), where he earned an M.D., then completed a residency and internship at SUNY Health Science Center at Brooklyn (now SUNY Downstate Medical Center). Dr. Israeli subsequently became an Assistant Attending Physician in Emergency Medicine at the Department of Adult Emergency Services with the Kings County Hospital Center in Brooklyn while simultaneously serving as a National Cancer Institute Fellow in Prostate Cancer Research at the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. Dr. Ron Israeli then accepted a residency in urology at Maimonides Medical Center, also in Brooklyn. In the final years of his residency, he became Chief Resident in Urology at the medical center. Dr. Ron Israeli then spent a year as a Clinical Fellow in Urologic Oncology before becoming Director of Urologic Oncology at Staten Island University Hospital, a position he held until November 2006. Now in private practice at Staten Island Urologic Oncology, Clove Urology, P.C., Dr. Israeli treats patients in his office and at Richmond University Medical Center and Maimonides Medical Center. Accepting new patients, he is willing to give second opinions and consultations. Dr. Ron Israeli oversees numerous clinical trials at his practice, offering the latest treatment in prostate cancer, overactive bladder, and urinary incontinence.
