Dr. Scott Altschuler

A Florida gastroenterologist, Dr. Scott Altschuler laid the foundation for his career with a bachelor of science in information and decision support systems from Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh. After graduating magna cum laude from Carnegie Mellon University, he undertook pre-med post-baccalaureate studies at the University of Miami and earned his doctor of medicine from Boston University. Dr. Scott Altschuler remained at Boston University to complete an internal medicine internship and residency through the Boston Medical Center.
Dr. Scott Altschuler subsequently spent three years with the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, where he earned a master of health evaluation science and completed a fellowship in gastroenterology. He finished his fellowship as chief fellow.
After serving nearly a decade with various Florida practices, Dr. Altschuler opened his own practice in Port St. Lucie, Treasure Coast GI. As managing physician of Treasure Coast GI since 2017, he has performed a broad variety of diagnostic and treatment procedures.
