Dr. Scott Stoney

An experienced physician specializing in practical pain management and rehabilitation, Dr. Scott Stoney has made a number of media appearances, including on a doctor’s segment aired by KCAL-TV, channel 9, in Los Angeles and on Jamie Foxx’s The Foxxhole on Sirius Satellite Radio channel 106. Additionally, he has produced several videos detailing his treatment techniques, available for viewing on YouTube’s Chronic Pain Management channel. Dr. Scott Stoney has worked as the Medical Director and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of California Rehabilitation, Inc., for over 20 years, serving a number of other medical institutions concurrently. He held the title of Staff Physician at Newport Beach’s Hoag Memorial Hospital Presbyterian in the late 1990s and early 2000s and the Fountain Valley Regional Hospital and Medical Center from 1994 to 2008. From 1991 to 1995, he served as a Professor of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the University of California, Irvine. Dr. Scott Stoney was a member of the Boards for the International Centre for Child and Family Studies from 2002 to 2007 and a Board Member for Arta Western Medical Group from 2003 to 2008. Over the course of his career, Dr. Scott Stoney has garnered acclaim from peers and patients, receiving, among other accolades, the Patients’ Choice Physician of the Year Award in 2010 and 2011 and a listing the Cambridge edition of Who’s Who. In addition to his work as the CEO and Medical Director of California Rehabilitation, Inc., Dr. Scott Stoney participates in Newport Beach’s community events and is a member of St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church and involved with the Newport Beach Police Department’s Citizens’ Police Academy. Dr. Scott Stoney holds an MBA from Pepperdine University and an MD from Rutgers Medical School, now part of the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. In 1995, the American Board of Pain Medicine certified his practice in the field of pain medicine. Dr. Scott Stoney also possesses certifications from the National Board of Medical Examiners (1988) and American Academy of Family Physicians (1992) and licensure from the State of California (1989).
