Dr. Seth A. Eidemiller is a board-certified emergency physician with roots in Idaho, where he grew up on a fourth-generation dairy farm. His early life included work in wildfire suppression and construction, which helped him develop a foundation of practical skills and problem-solving abilities. He pursued higher education by earning degrees in International Studies and Spanish, then returned to Boise to complete the prerequisites for medical school, with a focus on laboratory sciences. During this period, he worked as a lab instructor and manager and participated in biomedical research for several years, concentrating on systems biology and human health.

Before entering medicine, he held a variety of jobs, including serving as a wildland firefighter with the U.S. Forest Service and working in the construction industry, where he learned hands-on skills in carpentry and electrical work. He also spent time working in restaurants, where he developed the ability to manage customer needs and perform well under pressure.

He entered medical school in Reno in 2012, completing rotations in general medicine, pediatrics, surgery, psychiatry, and internal medicine. He graduated in 2016 and was matched into an emergency medicine residency at a busy hospital in Fresno, where he received training in airway management, resuscitation, line placement, and bedside ultrasound. During his residency, he treated a wide range of emergency cases, including trauma, sepsis, cardiac arrest, stroke, and psychiatric crises, often caring for patients with limited access to regular healthcare.

After residency, he worked at a medical center in Merced and joined the Chico Emergency Medicine Physician Group in 2020. As his responsibilities increased, he was recognized for his clear communication and attention to systems. In 2024, he became Vice Chair, overseeing scheduling, operational logistics, staff support, and quality improvement, all while maintaining his clinical work. He also keeps his skills current by working moonlighting shifts at a medical center in Fresno.

Dr. Seth Eidemiller holds board certification in emergency medicine and maintains an active California medical license. He is experienced in intubation, line placement, procedural sedation, and advanced cardiac life support. He communicates directly with Spanish-speaking patients and approaches each case with efficiency and clarity.
