Dr. Sharon Marble

Many doctors move around quite a bit while earning their degrees even though one often stays close to where they receive their education, in the case of Dr. Sharon Marble, she began by attending the University of South Florida in Tampa, Florida and received her Bachelors of Science in Biology. Dr. Sharon Marble thoroughly enjoyed the study of living things and this only helped confirm her desire to earn her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) which she did earn in 1989 at the University of Florida on the Gainesville, Florida campus.

While she enjoyed the process of digging deep into the veterinary field, Dr. Sharon Marble found that in the process of receiving her DVM that she had a change of passion for her desired career and that is why after finishing her DVM, she moved to the midwest, remained in school and worked to earn her Medical Doctorate from the University of Wisconsin in Madison, Wisconsin. She decided to completely switch gears in her career development path and as it turned out, it was there that she discovered her passion for psychiatry and psychiatry is the field Dr. Sharon Marble works in today. She feels privileged to be able to help people on a day to day basis with the knowledge she received both in her medical degree as well as her veterinary degree.
