Somi Oh

After graduating with high honors from UC Berkeley School of Optometry, I have been successfully practicing optometry in the Bay Area since 1983. Pediatric care and controlling myopia (near-sightedness) with orthokeratology is my passion and expertise.

I am enthusiastic about correcting vision through orthokeratology (a non surgical procedure of corneal reshaping), eyeglasses, contact lenses, as well as with vision therapy. As an industry pioneer, particularly in corrective therapy with children, I have taught internationally and published papers on the subject. I also had the privileged to introduce orthokeratology to Seoul, Korea in 1993.

I helped open 5 practices and have a long history of excellence in all aspects of optometric care, including diagnosis followed by treatment of vision problems and ocular health.
