Sophie Lin, MD, MBA

Hello, nice to meet you!

I am Dr. Sophie Lin, a board-certified family medicine physician in Houston, TX. I am passionate about disease prevention, chronic disease management, women’s health, and aesthetics. My practice centers on getting to know my patients and building a strong patient-physician relationship. I believe in helping my patients understand their health issues, so we can make an informed and evidence-based decision together. I am fluent in both English and Chinese and hold active medical licenses in both Texas and Georgia.

I grew up in the Houston suburbs, completed my Bachelors at Rice University, and my MD/MBA at Baylor College of Medicine. I was the recipient of the Harris County Academy of Family Physicians’ Harold T. Pruessner, MD scholarship and Texas Academy of Family Physicians’ Patrick Leung, MD scholarship in 2021. I subsequently completed my family medicine residency at Emory School of Medicine in Atlanta, GA.

Prior to medical school, I worked in management consulting at Deloitte Strategy & Operations, and I also have experience in biotechnology through my MBA internship. Outside of clinical practice, I am interested in primary care education, healthcare innovation, and creative problem-solving in the healthcare space.

In my free time, you can catch me reading, running, practicing yoga, binging Netflix, or spending time with my family and friends!
