In my practice, I often see patients who have waited too long because their symptoms looked small in the beginning. A heavy leg, a visible vein, a small foot wound, or calf pain while walking may not always be serious, but it should be understood properly.

My approach is simple. First, understand the patient’s symptoms. Then identify the actual vascular cause. After that, explain the treatment options clearly so the patient can make an informed decision.
