I have been an endocrine surgeon for many years. I enjoy the intricacies of surgery and am keenly interested in research in the field of thyroid cancers and adrenal tumours. I am involved in the education and training of trainee surgeons and have mentored more than 40 endocrine fellows. My trainees and I have given more than 200 presentations at state, national and international meetings focusing on surgical education, clinical outcomes research and the molecular biology of thyroid, parathyroid surgery and adrenal cancer.
