The importance of God, family and community has been the driving force that has defined her role as an anointed leader and community advocate. Born in Hazlehurst, Georgia and raised in the rich heritage of a Christian home, Sudonna Moss gives fully of herself for the welfare, betterment and advancement of others. With a heart for empowerment and being a voice for the voiceless, she has a long-standing, active history of involvement with the faith community. With a deep appreciation for the importance of legacy, she lead the initiative to have the Tallahassee Rosenwald School, founded by her great grandfather, the first public school for African American students in the Halspur Community placed on the National Registry of Historic Places and restored to its original luster to once again serve as a vital part of the community. Her involvement in church leadership and community activities has led her on numerous domestic and international missions. She works closely with Hosanna House in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, a home for girls orphaned to the HIV/AIDS epidemic through the Hosanna Broadcasting Network.

Sudonna earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science from Savannah State University; Teacher Preparation Program from Armstrong Atlantic State University; her Master’s degree in School Administration from Marymount University, Los Angeles, CA; and earned her Ed.D. at Pepperdine University School of Education and Psychology in Los Angeles. She is published and has the distinction of presenting at the Hawaii International Conference on Education. Sudonna devotes her time to empowering women, in all walks of life, through her nonprofit The Spirit Speaks. The thrust of The Spirit Speaks is to bring renewal, restoration, rejuvenation and regeneration to women. Serving well is her daily commitment therefore she says, "yes to God’s Word, God’s Will and God’s Way." Her accomplishments as a philanthropist have enabled her to uplift and enlighten many. It is her belief that together, in prayer and good works, we can heal and touch the lives of those who are broken and daunted to improve our global community. Sudonna is respected for leading and succeeding in the commission to fulfill her potential to do great things in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

One of the things she is most proud of is the humanitarian work done through her non-profit The Spirit Speaks. Sudonna devotes a lot of her time to empowering women in all walks of life.
