Dr. Tedde Rinker

Dr. Tedde Rinker maintains a successful medical practice in Los Altos, California, centered on the holistic treatment of chronic and stress-related conditions. With over 25 years of experience, Dr. Tedde Rinker has developed expertise in chronic fatigue syndrome, Lyme disease, and anti-aging medicine. Dr. Tedde Rinker studied medicine at Michigan State University, where she earned a Doctor of Osteopathy in 1978. Subsequently, Dr. Tedde Rinker did a rotating internship through Botsford General Hospital in Farmington Hills, Michigan. Dr. Tedde Rinker also completed a residency at Wayne State University’s Lafayette Clinic, specializing in general psychiatry. In the early 1980s, Dr. Tedde Rinker enrolled in an adolescent psychiatry fellowship through the University of California, San Francisco, graduating in 1983. Upon the completion of her studies, Dr. Tedde Rinker co-founded the Center for Stress Medicine in San Jose, California, and currently is the primary physician and owner of Stress Medicine Consulting in Los Altos, California. Throughout her studies, Dr. Tedde Rinker has pursued an interest in the connection between mind and body in a treatment setting, and she made this focus the foundation of her practice. In the early years of her clinical career, Dr. Tedde Rinker primarily evaluated individuals suffering from stress-related mental illness such as migraine headaches and panic attacks. Later, Dr. Tedde Rinker began conducting research on anti-aging hormones and their connection to cognitive function, mental illness, and chronic fatigue. Using bio-identical hormone replacement therapy, Dr. Tedde Rinker has effectively treated patients with multiple symptoms and generalized pain.
