Dr. Thomas Gratzer, renowned for his extensive service in general and forensic psychiatry, has dedicated over thirty years to the medical communities in the Twin Cities of Minnesota. His impactful career includes roles at key health institutions such as Psych Recovery, Regions Hospital, United Hospital, and Fairview University Medical Center, where his schedule typically comprised about 100 patient visits per week, in addition to several forensic assessments.
Throughout his esteemed career, Dr. Gratzer was notably positioned as Senior Forensic Psychiatrist at the Minnesota Security Hospital from 1995 until 2002. Alongside this role, from 1999 to 2015, he offered his expertise as a consulting psychiatrist for the Minnesota Department of Corrections at the Juvenile Detention Center, focusing on the psychiatric treatment of incarcerated youth.
