I'm holding a Master’s Degree in Information Systems from the Technische Universität München (TUM) and successfully finished an apprenticeship as IT application specialist.

Currently, I'm searching for a job starting April 2016 in which I can make use of my strengths in Semantic Web, Linked Data, Web Science, Knowledge Representation, Ontology Design, and Software Engineering. My research focuses on the validation of RDF data. I'm planning to finish my doctoral research at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) in May 2016. In my PhD thesis, I propose a validation framework for RDF-based constraint languages.

I actively participate in and contribute to 4 international scientific working groups whose aim is to develop international standards using Semantic Web technologies.

During the time I have been research associate and PhD student in Computer Science at a reseach institute, I presented my scientific work at and attended 19 international scientific conferences and 23 international scientific workshops in 16 different countries.

Among the most important international top conferences are the International World Wide Web Conference, the International Semantic Web Conference, and the International Conference on Semantic Systems. Among the workshops are the Workshop on Linked Data on the Web, 5 Dagstuhl Seminars, and the Summer School on Ontology Engineering and the Semantic Web.

I published my scientific work in form of 28 publications (5 journal articles, 8 articles in conference proceedings, 3 articles in workshop proceedings, 2 specifications, 9 technical reports, and my PhD thesis). I'm an editor of the RDF vocabularies DDI-RDF Discovery Vocabulary and Physical Data Description and a contributor to the SKOS extension XKOS.

I gained first experiences in project and team management in 16 smaller and 7 larger (at least 5 project members) software development projects.
