Dr. Tilok Ghose

Practicing medicine for over two decades, Dr. Tilok Ghose is recognized as one of the leading total joint replacement surgeons in the Twin Cities area of Minnesota. He currently treats patients at the Aspen Medical Group's Bloomington clinic. As an orthopedic surgeon, Tilok Ghose, MD, provides multiple treatment options for a variety of musculoskeletal conditions and injuries. His goal in working with patients is to help them improve their mobility and, ultimately, their quality of life.

Before coming to Minnesota, Dr. Tilok Ghose completed his education and medical training in Canada. After finishing his pre-med studies at Ontario's McMaster University, he went on to earn his degree in medicine from the University of Toronto in 1982. He then completed a five-year residency through McMaster's orthopedic program. Dr. Ghose participated in an orthopedic fellowship focused on the upper extremities and total joint replacement at two Toronto hospitals.

During and soon after his medical training, Dr. Tilok Ghose engaged in research activities in his chosen specialty. His work appeared in the journal Clinical Orthopaedics and Related Research. He also presented at several professional meetings, including those held by the American Orthopaedic Association, the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, and the Canadian Society for Surgery of the Hand, among others.

After working as an orthopedic surgeon in Ontario, Dr. Tilok Ghose began his practice in Bloomington, Minnesota, in 1992. He holds board certification from the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and is an American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons Fellow. He also belongs to the Mid-America Orthopaedic Association. In addition to performing surgery, Dr. Ghose conducts lectures for other surgeons at professional conferences.
