Dr. Timothy Wilson came to Scottsdale from Phoenix and Sells, Arizona. Working with Medicaid patients in Phoenix, he spoke Spanish on a daily basis and assisted many patients with difficult case histories, including instances of Early Childhood Caries (ECC). In Sells, Dr. Wilson worked with residents of the Tohono O'odham Indian Reservation. The job required him to be highly competent in all types of dental care, since many of his patients possessed compromised immune systems. In addition to his extensive professional experience, Dr. Timothy Wilson has studied procedures and the theories behind dental practices at several institutions. In 2001, he graduated with his Doctor of Dental Surgery from the State University of New York (SUNY) at Buffalo School of Medicine. In the following year, he completed a certificate in advanced education in general dentistry from Lutheran Medical Center. In 2005, he left his regular practice to complete a residency in advanced pediatric dentistry at the University of Rochester. Dr. Timothy Wilson is a member of several professional organizations, including the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, and the Arizona Dental Association. He also serves as an Oral Conscious Sedation Examiner on the Arizona State Board of Dental Examiners. Moreover, he is President of the Arizona Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. Dr. Wilson currently lives in Scottsdale with his wife and two children.
