Dr. Tod Fish
Associate Director of Choral Activities in Nacogdoches, TX
Dr. Tod Fish laid the foundation for his career in music with both a bachelor and master of music in choral conducting from Stephen F. Austin State University (SFASU) in Nacogdoches, Texas. While enrolled at SFASU, he directed both the Women’s Chorus and the Choral Union as a graduate teaching assistant. Dr. Tod Fish has also worked as the choir director for Forest Park Middle School, and as an assistant choir director for both Amarillo High School and Tascosa High School.
After graduating from SFASU, Dr. Fish continue to direct choirs for a variety of schools and churches in Texas and Kansas. He also returned to the academic arena to secure a doctor of musical arts in choral conducting from the University of Kansas.
For the past 7 years, Dr. Tod Fish has directed choral activities at SFASU, his alma mater. His ongoing responsibilities include serving as a visiting assistant professor of choir and teaching subjects such as choral conducting and Italian lyric diction.
