Dr. Tzvi Bar-David

Riverdale resident Dr. Tzvi Bar-David is a founding partner of the podiatry team at Foot Associates of New York. Outside of his management and clinical responsibilities at the practice, Dr. Tzvi Bar-David shares his expertise in podiatric medicine through his affiliation with New York Presbyterian Hospital / /Columbia University Medical Center as a lecturer and as the Director of the Podiatric Surgery Service. Additionally, Dr. Tzvi Bar-David assists the staff at New York-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center’s Division of Vascular Surgery and consults with the medical personnel at the Naomi Berrie Diabetes Center at Columbia University Medical Center. On top of his position at Foot Associates of New York and his appointments at New York Presbyterian Hospital, Dr. Tzvi Bar-David actively participates in several professional groups. Shortly after completing residency training in foot surgery, Dr. Tzvi Bar-David received his certification with the American Board of Podiatric Surgery (ABPS), an association with more than 30 years history of licensing qualified podiatric surgeons. As a Diplomate with the ABPS and as a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons (ACFAS), Dr. Tzvi Bar-David has access to a wealth of resources while undergoing recertification every ten years. Dr. Tzvi Bar-David also maintains professional affiliations with the American Podiatric Medical Association (APMA) and the New York State Podiatric Medical Association (NYSPMA). As the Immediate Past President and member of the Board of Directors of Division Nine of the ACFAS (Greater New York), Dr. Tzvi Bar-David belongs to one of the largest chapters of a nationwide group of 6,000-plus foot and ankle surgeons. Through this organization, Dr. Tzvi Bar-David and other members benefit from training at regional podiatry seminars, workshops, and nationwide conferences.
