Geoffrey VanderPal

Since 1992 Dr. VanderPal has been working in the financial services industry and for 10 years owned a successful financial and wealth management consulting firm. Dr. VanderPal has been a global Professor and Lecturer at multiple universities worldwide including in the USA, Asia, Europe and Africa since 2002 and has taught over 300 courses and seminars online and on ground. Currently Dr. VanderPal is a co-founder of Alexia Kay Design a fashion accessories firm.

Dr. VanderPal personally holds advanced certifications and degrees that lend to his experience. He obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a triple major in finance, marketing and management from Columbia College. A Masters of Business Administration from Webster University. Dr. VanderPal in early 2006, earned a Doctorate degree in Finance and Business Administration (with Honors) from Nova Southeastern University while completing a dissertation researching various hedging strategies and risk/adjusted return analysis metrics based upon equity index investing. He maintains the Certified Financial Planner ®, Chartered Life Underwriter and Certified Treasury Professional designations,.

Professor VanderPal is a Securities Arbitrator with the National Association of Securities Dealers and the New York Stock Exchange, now FINRA. He was the past President (2004/05) of the Financial Planning Association of Southern Nevada and served as Advisor to the Consular Chamber of Commerce. Dr. VanderPal has been quoted or featured in Millionaire Magazine, Mutual Fund Magazine, USA Today, Time, Smart Money, Index Universe, AARP Bulletin, InvestmentNews and Fortune. He has been published in the Journal of Financial Planning, Journal of Personal Finance, Journal of Accounting and Finance and Upenn/Wharton.
