Dr. William Roy

A dedicated medical professional and board member of the American Cancer Society, Dr. William Roy has earned a number of awards and commendations over the course of his career. In 2012,and again in 2013, the Consumer’s Research Council of America named him as one of America’s Top Gynecologic Oncologists, and he was included in the 2012-13 volume of Who’s Who for Executives and Professionals. Dr. William Roy, as amember of the Women's Cancer center, has also received the American Society of Clinical Oncology’s Award for Commitment to Advancing Cancer Research Through Clinical Trials, and been recognized as one of the Outstanding Scientists of the 21st Century. In 1992, the governor of Kentucky appointed him to the Honorable Order of Kentucky Colonels.

Dr. William Roy maintains ties with a range of professional organizations, including the International College of Surgeons, the Society of Clinical Gynecologic Oncologists, and the American Medical Association. He currently serves as the medical director of Gyn Oncology at the Cancer Center, in Mobile, Alabama.
