Dr. Wy Martin

Dr. Wylene Martin, affectionately referred to as “Dr. Wy” is the wife of, Dr. Marcus E. Martin, and serves as Co-Pastor of Faith in Action International Ministries. As an ordained minister of the gospel, she served diligently for over 12 years, under the leadership of Bishop Joie & Pastor Floretta Johnson of Victory Praise Cathedral, in vast areas of ministry such as ministerial staff, youth director, church treasurer, secretary and more before joining her husband in Houston, Texas.

A woman of virtue, poise, and grace, Dr. Wy is known for her unconditional love and kindness which she pours wholeheartedly into others as she preaches, teaches, and mentors through various venues and speaking engagements. Dr. Wy is also Independent Sales Consultant for Mary Kay Cosmetics. Along with her blog that she writes regularly, she has recently added published author to the list of her many accomplishments.

She is also the founder of Fearfully & Wonderfully Made Inc., a non-profit organization, whose vision is to reach females of all ages, with the love of Christ by mentoring and developing relationships through conferences, programs, workshops, and other services that meet them at their point of need, enabling them to discover their true identities in Christ.

Dr. Martin holds a Bachelor’s degree in English Literature from Morris Brown College, and a Master’s degree in Post-Secondary Education from Troy University. She recently received her Doctorate in Theology from Pentefaith Biblical Institute and Studies. As a Certified Christian Counselor, she also holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Christian Counseling from Christian Bible Institute & Seminary. Dr. Wy currently teaches 8th Grade Language Arts at Holub Middle School in Houston, TX.

Dr. Martin demonstrates true poise, character, and wisdom, as she handles her obligations to serve in ministry alongside her husband. She is a model woman of God and takes her responsibilities as a wife, mother and servant of the kingdom very seriously. Dr. Wy believes that women are empowered both spiritually and physically when they know how fearfully and wonderfully made they are, and that God has a purpose and plan specifically for each of them.
