Yazmin Valdes, DAOM, LAc

Born and raised in Miami, Florida, Yazmin’s passion for the healing arts led her to learn from and practice alongside doctors and masters from around the world. She firmly believes that all things in nature hold profound medicinal value and actively promotes outdoor physical activity as a preventive health measure. Yazmin has received training in both biomedicine health sciences and eastern medicine practices and has over 16 years of experience working within a variety of cross-disciplinary settings.

Experienced in seasonal prevention and the treatment of pain, she has conducted epidemic surveillance research as a contribution to global health. She has also served as an instructor in her specialty at the post-secondary level and earned a Doctorate in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine in 2020. Currently, Yazmin is a board-certified, licensed acupuncturist dedicated to clinical practice and ongoing research. She offers treatment in Atlanta, GA and Telehealth consultations for those out of reach in the states of Georgia and Florida .
