David Sanchez

I grew up in Costa Rica with an early fascination for how things work, especially computers and technology. That curiosity set me on a path to study Computer Systems Engineering and build a career dedicated to helping people and organizations innovate through technology.

Over the past 15+ years, I’ve worked across consulting, engineering, marketing, sales, support and enablement roles, with a focus on developer productivity, cloud computing, and open-source adoption. Along the way, I’ve been honored multiple times as a Microsoft Most Valuable Professional (MVP) and have delivered impactful workshops, technical demos, and talks that empower developers and decision makers to unlock new opportunities. I thrive at the intersection of technology and people, whether it’s guiding enterprises on their digital transformation journey, building hands-on training experiences, or sharing practical insights with the broader tech community.

My professional journey has also been shaped by global experiences, from starting my career in Costa Rica, lived in Seattle for over 5 years to now living in Orlando, Florida, while collaborating with teams and technical communities worldwide. I’m passionate about web development, open-source projects, and creating content to inspire others.

Beyond my work, I like to watch movies, play video games (any platform), 3D printing projects, and learning new stuff. Fluent in English, Spanish, and learning Brazilian Portuguese, I enjoy connecting with diverse communities and fostering collaboration across borders.
