Just like any other Texas City, Dallas also offers unique events during the year where people can attend to different types of festivals such as parades, cultural events, artist events, rodeos, fairs etc. Here is a list of events that are planned during the year and we would like to share them with you so you can know whats going on in the city during different months.
JANUARY
One of the most famous events in January is the Martin Luther King jr. parade. This is one of the largest events in the country and Dallas has hosted it for the last 30 years. This is a commemoration of the life of dr. King and you will be able to see lots of marching bands, food, fun, souvenirs and much more.
MARCH-MAY
From March to May several events catch people's attention. One of them is the North Texas Irish Festival. This is when the Irish culture celebrates its heritage in all its forms. This amazing Festival includes Celtic musicians and competitive Irish dancing. Of course, when you talk about Irish culture, you cannot think about a festival without Irish beer.
JUNE-AUGUST
If you plan to visit Dallas between June and August, the most important event will be the Mesquite Pro Rodeo. If you're in Dallas going to a rodeo is a must, this is why you shouldn't miss this event where the best cowboys compete to be the best.
SEPTEMBER- OCTOBER
During September and October, one of the most important events is the State Fair of Texas. This incredible Fair has become a custom in Texas where you can ride the tallest Ferris wheels in North America. Something that you cannot miss in this fair is the corn dogs.
NOVEMBER- DECEMBER
In November and December, the event that everyone expects is the Texas Motor Speedway. You can have yourself a full-on NASCAR experience with the annual car race that is held in November.
