Danielle Berenson
I began dancing as a push to boost my confidence and my presence in front of crowds. What I got were a community, close friends, and passion. I joined the Ballroom Performance Group, and performing allowed a thrilling, courageous side of me to surface. I began to teach, and in teaching not only expanded my knowledge of dance, but also a better understanding of dance through the people that I taught. I found the simplest joy watching the members of my classes grow not only as dancers, but also within themselves. There is an incredible feeling of satisfaction seeing their growth and knowing that they too now share the excitement for learning and experiencing dance with one another.
