Dennis Schvejda

Formerly a NJ Sierra Club Conservation Director, I was awarded the National Sierra Club Special Service Award in 2000 & the Clean Water Network Water Leadership Award in 2007.

I've been fortunate to have visited a number of Public Lands Hotspots: Arctic National Wildlife Refuge, proposed Utah Wilderness areas, Northern Rockies; Everglades; Tongass & Chugach National Forests, California Redwoods, and Northern Forest. First hand experience has proven invaluable in Congressional lobbying efforts and citizen activist outreach.

Weekdays I'm at the computer informing my growing social media community of actions to take and news related to the environment.

Weekends I'm unplugged, roaming the hills of Catskills.
