My name is Danielle, and I love books, theinternet, sharply tailored blazers, and Fleetwood Mac’s Tango in the Night. I have a BA in English with an IndividualizedMinor in Fashion, Design, and Media. Additionally, I possess a very largelipstick collection and a drawer full of stationery for sending snail mail. I’ma stickler for fixing crooked paintings, dessert forks and soup spoons, andusing the Oxford comma.

I’ma writer. I love helping people and companies buildcreative content, especially for the web. I was encouraged by family andteachers to pursue writing when I was young but I always had other ideas, frombeing a science teacher to working in human rights at the UN. But by the time Isettled into my second year of university, I recognized that they were right:my fondness for reading, writing, constant learning, and beautiful things areat the core of my work as a content creator. I specialize in developing writtencontent for print, websites, and social media, I approach my work with aninquisitive mind. An avid—and veryfast—reader, I adore doing research and know it makes me great at what I do!Whether I’m writing about a topic I’m an expert on (such as lipstick colourtrends) or something new (such as physiotherapy techniques), I always dive intothe research stage first to gather tons of new information and ideas to buildthe perfect content plan.

I’ma blogger. While the “the shoemaker’s children arealways barefoot” saying often applies to my personal blog with embarrassingaccuracy, I enjoy blogging about fashion and beauty, local events, etiquette,and technology. Occasionally, I spice things up with a short essay.

I’ma proud Edmontonian. The city’s thrivingentrepreneurial spirit makes it easy to be engaged and inspired. Edmonton has aspecial balance between small-community and big-city ideas; it’s a really coolplace to start building new projects!
