Hello and welcome to my page. I am officially a Junior at NCCU and my major is Early Childhood Education. I am a Baltimore, Maryland native and am also happy to call North Carolina my home. I am a student at North Carolina Central University. I also have a precious 8 year old daughter named Kairi (Ky-ree) that makes every part of my world complete. She is my little eagle. I am also gratefully 7.5 months with child. I have awesome three brothers and am the only girl of our family. Our mother is beautiful, strong and loving and plays as the rock of the family. I also have two cute little hamsters that I love dearly. My daughter has gotten me hooked on them!! They are spoiled rotten and they know it.

Attending NCCU has gave me a great sense of what it is to want to soar as high as I can in life. I strive to accomplish all of my goals and make more and more to achieve because there is no limit on success and hard work. Majoring in Early Childhood Education helps me have more appreciation for life and how much it has to offer. This is because I get to watch life unfold in education from my classes, while watching myself grow a life, and volunteer in daycare with more precious lives. My daughter is what really pushed me forth in this direction once I saw how beautiful life can be when you actually contribute to creating to one of your own. Children are definitely my passion as I have so many in my family. I never understood the true meaning of "children are the future" until I began to realize how fast children were growing up man how fast me and my brothers grew up.

My motivation in life is my family. I appreciate this driving force in my personal and professional life. In my personal life, I have been able to gain a mindset that life is supposed to be fun and bad situations should be taken with a grain of salt and a learning experience. Even when things are out of my control I have learned that everything happens for a reason. In my professional life, I have learned to not be as serious and be comfortable in my skin as it makes for a better environment. Being myself is the easiest to do and it gives my employers or potential business endeavor prospects a idea of how i would possibly be to work with me.

All in all, I am pretty satisfied with my life n general. Life is what we make it, I strive to make mine worth living.
