Divesh Sisodraker
Divesh 1.0 : I received an Honours Degree in Finance from Simon Fraser University and then my CA designation while working at KPMG. I then worked in the finance industry, ultimately working for HSBC Securities.
Divesh 2.0 : I moved to the "other side of the table," and became a technology executive with C-Level roles in three companies. I worked at ALI Technologies (which sold to McKesson for $550mn), Pivotal Corporation (which was the highest valued software company in Canada in 2000), and Taleo Corporation (which sold to Oracle for almost $2bn). I was on the board of Bridgewater Corporation (sold to Amdocs) and Chalk Media (sold to RIM).
Divesh 3.0 : I became a venture capitalist and software investor in 2010. I focus on the intersection of mobile, social and gamification in the areas of digital marketing and social enterprises. I love meeting new companies and hearing about interesting products.
I enjoy music and play saxophone and guitar. I rotate my background image to show my favourite artists. The current picture is Duke Ellington (from Wikipedia: 'In the opinion of Bob Blumenthal of The Boston Globe, "[i]n the century since his birth, there has been no greater composer, American or otherwise, than Edward Kennedy Ellington.".') I couldn't agree more.
