Grafton, West Virginia

I live in Taylor county West Virginia in a quaint little town called Grafton. Grafton is the sight of the International Mothers Day Church. Mothers Day was started here by a local resident by the name of Anna Jarvis. Taylor county is the only county in the stae with two state parks (Tygart Lake and Valley Fall State Park). Taylor county has the only National Cemetarys (two) in the state of West Virginia. Grafton is a beautiful, quiet and peaceful little country town of about 1800 people with about 18,000 people living in Taylor county.

I am A US Marine Corps veteran. I retired from Pratt & Whitney Aircrfaft and I am a former employee of a company that provided medical supplies to the US ARMY. I have been in Japan, South Korea, Germany, Kuwait and almost all 50 states including several trips to Alaska and Hawaii.

I rewtired about two years ago, thinking it was time for me to slow down. Now I have two beautiful grand-daughters along with a wife and three sons who keep me busy. Life has been just wonderful to me. All I can say is: Thank you Lord!
