I am a Paramedic educator in the Denver metropolitan area. After years of providing medical care to patients in urban, rural, and flight programs, I have decided to focus on educating the next generation.

I am currently working on my Masters in Instructional Design and Technology through Walden University with an expected completion date of early 2014.

My background is varied:

-8 years in the U.S. Air Force as a Munitions Systems Specialists (IYAAYAS)

-2 years as a Correctional Officer

-17 years combined as an EMT and Paramedic including 6 years as a flight paramedic

The transition from front line caregiver to full time educator has been challenging, I won't deny that. The satisfaction comes from watching the next generation of caregivers accept the responsibility of caring for their communities.
