Domonique Washington is a fully dedicated Youth Minister of Higher Ground Outreach Church. She serves there under her parents, Bishop Rickey and Pastor Lesia Washington. Domonique oversees several areas of ministry at Higher Ground Outreach Church that include youth from infancy to 18 years of age. Those ministries are specifically crafted to strengthen the spirits of the youth, to equip them with knowledge to witness to their peers, and to foster their intellect and God-given talents.

Domonique works earnestly to promote the spiritual health of the youth in the city of Baton Rouge through innovative and energetic youth rallies, lock-ins and other youth centered programs and events. Domonique has successfully spearheaded outreach events such as The Annual Easter Block Party, Back to School Rally, and Summer Bible Camp. She has given approximately 3000 youth access to school supplies, uniforms, shoes, haircuts and Christian entertainment since 1999. She is currently organizing a two-day youth encounter, Cross Culture, set for October of this year.

Domonique graduated from Southeastern Louisiana University with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication with a speech concentration. She is currently working towards her Master in Christian Leadership and certification for Life Coach. Domonique has completed her first publication in the form of a non-fiction leadership book for youth, entitiled YLEAD (Young Leaders Entering Awaited Destiny) that will be released in August. She also owns a Christian T-shirt company named RoyalTees and is set to debut her line of blazers in 2014.

She is a minister, a counselor and businesswoman. Everything she does and endeavors to do has Christ at the center. Passionate about ministry and youth, Domonique has devoted her life to leading others to Christ.
