Hello, my name is Thao. I am an international student from Vietnam pursuing a Bachelor's in Marketing at the University of Texas at Dallas.

IF you ask me what Marketing is about, I'll answer immediately it's about the 4Ps: Product, Price, Place & Promotion. The only thing that connects these 4Ps, I believe, is the 5th extremely important P - people. That's how I link my desire to travel with what I'd love to pursue as a career in the future.

I cannot claim myself as a bold backpacker, maybe just a curious girl who is always willing to go, explore, and talk to people. As a Vietnamese, I'd like to set foot to all the provinces in my country, to be proud of my land from the north to the south, the west to the east. As an Asian, I value my culture and my introvert politeness. I'd like to travel around the neighbor Southeast Asian countries, and head further to Korea, China, and particularly Japan. And finally, as a youngster, I must go beyond the border, crossing the ocean to places with totally different cultures, values, religions. I'm afraid? Heck yes I'm super awkward? A lot of time. Yet wherever I go, I'm so thankful that there would always be someone willing to stop to listen to me, to understand me and to show me about his lands, his cultures.
