Dan Tinkler

Since I can remember I have always had a passion for music. I have been playing instruments and performing for the greater half of my life. I play the guitar, the piano, and drums. I started my academic career in college studying Jazz Performance. I am always seeking new opportunities and challenges to better myself as a musician. Performing music is what led me into the world of audio. Spending time in various studios as a musician, I became more interested with what the engineer was doing than with what I was playing. I began to record friends bands at my home in my free time. Eventually this would grow from a hobby into my passion. I am currently finishing up my Bachelors of Science in Audio Production at The Illinois Institute of Art - Schaumburg.

I love experimenting with all aspects of sound. I strive to take something plain and making it extraordinary. I take this approach with me whenever I am working with audio, whether it be on a sound design project or working with a full band.
