I am Dtostar, professionally known as Young Tostar Rica FIRE.

I am a Nigerian artist and songwriter from Ikorodu, Lagos, creating a fusion of Afrobeats, Afro-Fusion, and Hip-Hop.

My music is inspired by my perspective on the world — the duality of struggle and hope, ambition and reality. This perspective is at the core of my song "WORLD," where I reflect on life, survival, and the pursuit of dreams in an unpredictable world.

Growing up in Ikorodu, I learned early that nothing is given; everything is earned. That resilience shaped my sound and my identity. The FIRE in my name represents intensity and authenticity. The mermaid symbol represents depth and resilience — the ability to thrive in deep waters.

My recent project, CITY BOYZ EP1, is a 6-track body of work that includes tracks such as GOD-SENT, No Panic, LUNGU, Rap Mood, Ibadi, and Ghetto Dreams. Each record documents a different chapter of the journey from the streets to the world stage.

I make music for dreamers, for those navigating their own world while chasing something bigger.
