Duane Ham

Duane Ham's major platforms as an elected politician were conservation and groundwater treatment facilities for safe drinking water. As he was one of the first to speak out against the San Jacinto River Authority's attempt to monopoly water sales by enforcing harsher groundwater production rules, many people still refer to Duane as the "John the Baptist" of groundwater. His intervention protected the river authority's surface water sale, who were in direct competition with the River Authority giant.

When Duane Ham works on his campaigns, he makes sure to focus on issues that he's incredibly passionate about. Some of the issues that are close to his heart are related to the economy and job creation. Duane is also incredibly passionate about abolishing the margin tax, eliminating government regulation of private businesses, and curbing government spending and bureaucratic practices. One of the things that Duane believes in wholeheartedly is promoting a free market that allows people to create new businesses and job opportunities for Texans.

Another thing that Duane Ham is incredibly passionate about is education. He supports the elimination of federal-based Common Core practices and wants the teachers to be able to teach children their own way. To Duane, giving teachers the freedom to craft their own plans would only benefit children. Healthcare is also something that is close to Duane's heart. Instead of expanding Texas's Medicaid, he supports, the implementation of reforms that will in turn lower the cost of healthcare.

Duane Ham is now happily working in the private sector as the CEO of Ham Product Safety Investigation & Consulting. His firm is an accident investigation business that reconstructs situations to discover the cause of injuries in the workplace. Their main purpose is to get justice and recompense for victims who have been injured as a consequence of human or mechanical error.
